Job Description
Ensure timely and cost-effective international sourcing of raw materials, fertilizers, and agro chemicals.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to streamline the import process.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, including developing alternative sourcing options.
Compare supplier offers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
Negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners for cost-effective.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including deliveries, invoices, and cost analysis reports. Collaborate with internal Team to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
Coordinate with transporters and clearing agents when required.
Provide updates on shipment status and expected arrival timelines to avoid inventory shortages
Preferences
Analytically and mathematically minded to analyze data and create necessary reports.
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
Conflict resolution skills.
The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time.
Ability to travel internationally.
Minimum Qualifications
Any Graduate, MBA candidates are more preferable.
